We operate as a service-area business—we visit customers on site and do not accept walk-in clients.
Personal information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us and some information that is collected automatically:
Contact forms (on our website): name, email, phone, address (if provided), free-text message, and the page the form was sent from.
Monday.com WorkForms (external form): name, phone, address, required service, preferred date/time, short description. Submissions create items in our Monday.com board.
Blog comments (WordPress): the data shown in the comment form (name, email), plus your IP address and browser user-agent to help spam detection. Comments remain publicly visible.
Amarr “Design Your Garage Door” configurator (embedded tool): door size and design selections and, if you choose, a photo of your home that you upload to visualize the door. Your selections and contact details are emailed to us so we can follow up with a quote. This embedded tool is operated by Amarr and may process and store your inputs and uploaded photos on Amarr’s systems. Please review Amarr’s privacy practices on their website.
Analytics & log data: IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, and interactions collected via Google Analytics 4 and standard server logs.
Cookies and similar technologies set by our site and by third parties (see “Cookies & Tracking” below).
We do not record phone calls and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
How we use your information
Responding to inquiries, scheduling jobs, and providing quotes.
Customer service and operations (e.g., following up on service requests).
Website analytics and performance.
Advertising and measurement (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook), where permitted.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing with service providers (processors)
We share data with vendors that help us run our business, strictly for the purposes described above:
Hosting/Infrastructure: Cloudways (and its underlying cloud provider) for website hosting and security.
Email & productivity: Google Workspace/Gmail for email communications.
Forms & workflow: Monday.com WorkForms to capture service requests that become items in our Monday board.
Analytics & advertising: Google Analytics 4; Google Ads (conversion/remarketing); Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram).
Maps: Google Maps, to display our service area and locations.
Embedded configurator: Amarr (Design-Your-Door API/widget) to render the design tool and process your selections and any uploaded home photo.
Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies & tracking
Our site and embedded tools may set cookies or use similar technologies to remember preferences, measure performance, and personalize or measure ads. This includes cookies or identifiers from Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Google Maps, and Amarr’s configurator.
You can control cookies in your browser settings, use built-in ad-preferences on Google and Facebook, or opt-out of GA4 via industry tools. If we later implement a consent banner, we will honor those choices.
Google Maps
Pages that include a Google Map request content directly from Google. Google may receive your IP address and set cookies when the map loads.
Amarr configurator (important)
When you use the Amarr Design-Your-Door tool on our site, the tool is loaded from Amarr’s servers. If you upload a photo, that image is transmitted to and processed by Amarr to generate the preview. We also receive the design details and your contact information by email. Amarr may retain this data according to their policies. How long we keep data
Website contact form submissions: typically up to 12 months for customer service and quoting, then deleted from our website inbox/export.
Monday.com WorkForms submissions: kept in our Monday.com account according to our business needs and Monday.com’s retention controls.
Blog comments: kept indefinitely (comments remain public) unless you ask us to remove your comment.
Analytics data: retained per GA4 defaults (commonly up to 14 months) unless we configure otherwise.
Server logs: typically retained for ~90 days for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights & choices
You can request access, update, or deletion of your personal information, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable U.S. laws.
Security
We use SSL (HTTPS) site-wide, maintain access controls, keep WordPress/plugins up to date, and perform routine backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Do Not Track
We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Third-party links & embedded content
Our site may contain links to other websites and embedded content (e.g., the Amarr configurator, Google Maps). Those third parties may collect data about you and set cookies when you interact with their content. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
