Who we are
I H OPERATIONS LLC d/b/a MonTop Garage Door (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides garage door supply, installation, and repair services in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area. We operate as a licensed service-area business (we visit customers on site and do not accept walk-in clients). These Terms govern your use of our website (the “Site”) and, where noted, certain aspects of our on-site services. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Using the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation. Content on the Site is for general information and may change without notice. Third-party links or tools (for example, manufacturer configurators) may appear on the Site; we do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or policies.
Estimates & scope (on-site services)
• Non-binding: Online or phone estimates are informational only and are not binding until confirmed after an on-site assessment.
• Price changes on site: If our on-site assessment results in a price change, you are not obligated to proceed. If you decline at that time, no service-call or other fee will be charged.
• Actual conditions: Final pricing may vary due to site conditions (dimensions, framing, tracks/openers, electrical, code/safety requirements, permits, disposal, access constraints, etc.). Any change will be explained before work begins.
Payments, deposits, and fees (on-site services)
• When due: Payment is due upon completion of the service/installation unless otherwise stated in your invoice/work order.
• Deposits: For door installation services, we require a deposit of 30%–50%. Deposits may also be required for special orders or custom materials.
• Methods accepted: Cash, checks, Zelle, Venmo, and credit cards. A 4% card processing fee is added to credit-card payments.
• Returned/reversed payments: If your bank or processor charges us a fee for a returned, reversed, or disputed payment, you agree to reimburse that fee.
• Title to parts/equipment: Title to parts, doors, openers, and other installed equipment remains with the Company until paid in full. This means the items are considered our property until your invoice balance is fully satisfied.
Scheduling, access & site readiness (on-site services)
You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to ensure reasonable site readiness (e.g., clear access to the garage area). If access is not available at the scheduled time, we may need to reschedule.
Warranties & workmanship (on-site services)
Any warranty or service commitment for on-site work will be stated on your invoice/work order and is subject to manufacturer terms for parts and materials. Misuse, alterations by others, and lack of maintenance may void warranties.
Cancellations & rescheduling (on-site services)
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Special-order items may be subject to supplier policies. We will disclose any supplier-specific terms before ordering.
User content you provide to the Site
If you submit information, images, or other materials through the Site (e.g., forms or tool uploads), you confirm you have the right to provide that content and that it does not infringe others’ rights. You grant us a non-exclusive right to use such content to provide quotes and services.
Intellectual property (Site)
All trademarks, logos, text, photos, and other materials on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse Site content without permission.
Third-party services and links (Site)
The Site may link to or embed third-party tools (for example, manufacturer configurators or mapping services). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
Disclaimers; “as-is” (Site)
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties relating to the Site and its content, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Information on the Site may be updated, corrected, or removed at any time.
Limitation of liability (Site)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the Site will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to us for the Site (if any) in the 3 months before the claim. This limitation does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
Note: Liability, warranties, and remedies for on-site services are governed by your invoice/work order and applicable law and may differ from this Site limitation.
Indemnity (Site)
You agree to indemnify and hold us and our employees/contractors harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may update the Site or these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland for any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms, except that claims may be brought in small-claims court where appropriate.
